Container: Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS và AWS FargateContainers: Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS and AWS Fargate
MFTECH đóng gói các service thành container. Bài học trình bày cách lựa chọn môi trường chạy (EC2 launch type hoặc Fargate, ECS hoặc EKS) và giải quyết năm yêu cầu thực tế: lưu trữ ảnh dùng chung giữa các task, job chạy theo lịch, job vượt quá giới hạn thời gian của Lambda, quyền riêng cho từng Pod, Pod ở trạng thái Pending do cluster hết tài nguyên; sau đó là cách mở rộng theo hai tầng (Pod/task và node) và lựa chọn nơi chạy Kubernetes khi dữ liệu phải ở lại data center.MFTECH packages its services as containers. This lesson covers how to choose a runtime environment (EC2 launch type or Fargate, ECS or EKS) and solves five practical requirements: image storage shared between tasks, scheduled jobs, jobs that exceed Lambda's time limit, separate permissions for each Pod, Pods left in the Pending state because the cluster is out of resources; then scaling in two layers (Pods/tasks and nodes) and where to run Kubernetes when data must stay in the data center.

The MFTECH team has packaged the web application, the workers and the reporting jobs as containers. The first decision: do containers run on EC2 instances the team manages itself, or on AWS Fargate, where AWS manages the compute infrastructure? Next come the day-to-day operational requirements: file storage, scheduled runs, permissions, and scaling resources for the cluster.
