CloudFront không lưu bản gốc của nội dung; CloudFront lấy object từ origin rồi lưu bản sao trong cache tại edge location gần người dùng.

Cơ chế cache tại edge: request đầu tiên (cache miss) được chuyển tới origin; các request tiếp theo trong thời gian TTL (cache hit) được phục vụ trực tiếp tại edge location.

CloudFront does not store the original content; it fetches objects from the origin and stores copies in the cache at edge locations near users.

How the edge cache works: the first request (cache miss) is forwarded to the origin; later requests within the TTL (cache hit) are served directly at the edge location.

A custom origin can be an HTTP server outside AWS, so the backend does not need to move.
