Khi mở rộng sang nhiều AZ hoặc nhiều Region, một số cấu hình tưởng như được áp dụng tự động nhưng thực tế phải thực hiện riêng.
Bốn yêu cầu dưới đây có vẻ đơn giản nhưng thường bị cấu hình sai khi MFTECH mở rộng hạ tầng. Chọn tình huống, thử phương án thường được áp dụng trước, sau đó so sánh với phương án đúng.

- EFS truy cập được từ Region khác thông qua inter-region VPC peering, không cần copy dữ liệu.
- Public NAT gateway ở chế độ zonal được đặt trong public subnet (chế độ regional không cần public subnet); egress-only internet gateway chỉ dành cho IPv6.
- Để xác định cùng một AZ với account khác: sử dụng AZ ID.
- Nội dung được nhiều người dùng xem lặp lại: cache bằng CloudFront; truyền dữ liệu đường dài tới hoặc từ bucket (cả tải lên lẫn tải xuống): S3 Transfer Acceleration; ứng dụng cần cả hai thì kết hợp cả hai.
Four common configuration mistakes when expanding infrastructure
When expanding to several AZs or Regions, some configurations seem to apply automatically but in fact must be set up separately.
The four requirements below look simple but are often configured wrongly as MFTECH expands its infrastructure. Choose a scenario, try the option that is commonly applied first, then compare it with the correct option.

- EFS can be accessed from another Region through inter-Region VPC peering, without copying data.
- A public NAT gateway in zonal mode is placed in a public subnet (regional mode does not need a public subnet); an egress-only internet gateway is for IPv6 only.
- To identify the same AZ as another account: use the AZ ID.
- Content that many users view repeatedly: cache it with CloudFront; long-distance transfers to or from a bucket (uploads and downloads alike): S3 Transfer Acceleration; an application that needs both combines them.
