Truy cập internet: internet gateway, network ACL và security group
Để một request từ internet tới được web server trong VPC, request phải đi qua ba lớp kiểm soát: internet gateway của VPC, network ACL của subnet và security group của instance.
Một subnet chỉ là public subnet khi route table của subnet đó có route 0.0.0.0/0 tới internet gateway (IGW). Request từ internet tới web server của MFTECH lần lượt đi qua IGW, network ACL tại ranh giới subnet, và security group gắn với instance. Bật hoặc tắt từng điều kiện và gửi request để xác định lớp kiểm soát đang chặn traffic.
Bật hoặc tắt các điều kiện phía trên, sau đó gửi request. Cấu hình mặc định đang thiếu một điều kiện thường bị bỏ sót; gửi request để xác định điều kiện đó.
- Điều kiện để kết nối internet: route tới IGW, public IP (IGW thực hiện NAT giữa public IP và private IP), NACL cho phép cả hai chiều, security group cho phép chiều inbound.
- Security group là stateful: response tự động được cho phép.
- NACL là stateless: chiều trả về phải được cho phép tường minh.
Internet access: internet gateway, network ACL and security group
For a request from the internet to reach a web server in the VPC, it must pass three control layers: the VPC’s internet gateway, the subnet’s network ACL and the instance’s security group.
A subnet is a public subnet only when its route table has a 0.0.0.0/0 route to an internet gateway (IGW). A request from the internet to MFTECH’s web server passes in turn through the IGW, the network ACL at the subnet boundary, and the security group attached to the instance. Turn each condition on or off and send a request to find the control layer that is blocking traffic.

- Conditions for internet connectivity: a route to the IGW, a public IP (the IGW performs NAT between the public IP and the private IP), a NACL that allows both directions, and a security group that allows the inbound direction.
- Security groups are stateful: responses are allowed automatically.
- NACLs are stateless: the return direction must be allowed explicitly.
